After analyzing your main character in a closer manner, you should now be able to compare and contrast the character with the main character from the class read. In an H-chart or in 3 paragraphs compare and contrast these two characters. Determine which one you identify the most with and why.
I'm still reading Blood Is Thicker By:Paul Langan and D.M. Blackwell. My main character is Hakeem and I'm going to compare and contrast my character with the Monster High character Frankie. The part in purple is where I say which character that I'm more alike because my computer isn't working right.

Right now I have started a new book again, it is called Bluford High:Blood is Thicker, By. Paul Langan & D.M. Blackwell. So far what I have read is that the main character, Hakeem Randall and his family have to move to Detroit because they can no longer afford there house in California because they have to take care of their dads cancer. Hakeem is very sad about having to move because he doesn't want to leave his home, girlfriend (Darcy) and friends(Cooper and Tarah). He fells like that if he leaves them he will never see them again. Hakeem seems to me to be a very caring and sweet person and I think this because I the book it says “Hoping that the family would find a new apartment...I would even share a room with my little twin sisters” pg.3.

In the book I have read about Hakeem dad that has cancer, his mom, his little twin sisters, and his Uncle James, Aunt Lorraine, and Cousin Savon. Hakeem and his family are going to live with his Uncle and Aunt in Detroit. When they get there Savon is being really rude it Hakeem and Hakeem doesn't know why and I know this because in the book Savon says "Don't tell me you want me to feel sorry for you... You think I wanna share my room with you? Please!" then Hakeem says "Savon what's your prob..." pg.20

Also I have learned that Hakeem went to Bluford High and also I think that he is 16 years old because in the book it says that he hasn't seen his cousin since he was 6 and that was 10 years ago. In the book it doesn't really describe what Hakeem looks like but there's a picture on the cover that I think is him. On the cover it shows a Africa American wearing a white t-shirt with a black leather jacket over it. I think that his job will to help work with his uncle at the furniture store and I know this because it says."Well Hakeem and I will be glad to pitch in at the furniture store..."Yeah sure"Hakeem said pg.25

Right now I have started to read a new book called Amos Fortune: Free Man, by Elizabeth Yates. I think that this it will be very difficult to answer this question for this book,because on the back cover of the book is kinda boring to me because on the back cover it's green and white with green and black letters and nothing else. To find a alternative title is really hard because I just started to read this book. But one of the titles that I think that would work was... Free Man:(catch phrase:"It does a man no good to be free until he learns how to live") I got this catch phrase from the back of the book.

The way that I think that the new title poster would look like is that there would be a green field with the sun out in the summer time and there is a slave runnig in the field free living the free life and the catch phase in at the top underneath the title in dark blue letters.

The Title of the book that I"m reading is called I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings, by Maya Angelou. The copy right date is 1969. I know that this is the copy right date because it says it on the back of the title page.
The genre is realistic fiction or nonfiction.I know this is this is the genre because I asked Ms.Luthey because she picked out my book for me because she said that I have to read it,but I think that this book is nonfiction because the book is by Maya Angelou and the main characters name is Maya.
The cover of the book has a picture of Maya Angelou and it's has a light orange background, also it says "I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings" with purple and orange plants on the side of it with a blue part around the words.
There are a couple of characters that I have met at the beginning of the book.
The main character is Maya and I met her on the first page of the book.
Bailey is Maya's older brother(by a year) and I met him on page 5
Also there is Uncle Willie andI think that he is cripple and I met him on page 10.

The book that I am reading now is called Mississippi Trail 1955, by Chris Crowe. So far this book is about a boy named Hiram and he is like letting the reader know what happened in the summer of 1955 when he was staying with his grandpa and grandma in Greenwood,Mississippi.At the beginning of the book Hiram and his grandpa was walking to the courthouse and Hiram's grandpa gave him a nickel so he can get some candy then they went to his grandpas field to watch the workers work and all the workers are black people and his grandpa saw Hiram playing with one of the workers hoes (cutting tool) and he got mad at the worker for letting his grandson play with his hoes and I know this because in the book it says on page7 "Hiram Hillburn, you put that down right now!" Grandpa shouted.I dropped the hoe and grandpa turned to the worker."You,boy!" he snapped "Don't you know any better than to let my grandson play with that tool? I ain't paying you to be a slacker, so you got no reason to be resting when you should be chopping." My reaction to this will be that I wouldn't let him yell at me just because I worked for him and I also wold be responsible and I wouldn't let his grandson play with the hoes. Also in the story after that his grandpa said that on page 8 "God put Negroes to work the land. They don't feel the heat like we do they can work all day long'. I f I was there in that stiuation then I would think that he was a races old man and that I would say something different then how he felt about black people and all people that are other reaces

I can tell that you are interested in your book a lot and that you know the plot but how can you describe the relationship between the mom and your main character (Question)From Dazheea.

The relationship between the main character and her mom is that they don't really have a good relationship because after the divorce her and her mom didn't have a relationship because she didn't want her mom in her life because she felt like if her mom ruined their family by cheating and having a baby with another man.But then I guess that she tries to make their relationship guess that better.But um I guess thats how their relation ship is in the book.

In the book that I am reading now is named Memories of a teenage amnesiac. So far the book is about how a girl name Naomi has fallen down stairs and has lost most of her memories when she is going to the hospital there is a boy named James in the and he is telling the doctors that he is Naomi's boyfriend so that he can go to the hospital with her.She didn't really know what was going on.When her dad came in after Naomi was talking to James she wanted to know where her mother was.Her dad told her that they had gotten a divorce she was wondering why they had gotten the divorce so when she got to talk to her mom she asked why they had gotten the divorce and she said because she had cheated and got pregnant then Naomi called her mom a slut and that is how far I have gotten in the book.

The plot I think is that she is in the hospital because she fell down the stairs but that is also the setting the book but the setting in the book also is that that it's is taking place in the present. The universal theme is human nature because of her emotions about how she feels about her mom. The protagonist is Naomi because she is the nascent one and the antagonist is the Mother because her mother ruined the family.
