The book that I am reading now is called Mississippi Trail 1955, by Chris Crowe. So far this book is about a boy named Hiram and he is like letting the reader know what happened in the summer of 1955 when he was staying with his grandpa and grandma in Greenwood,Mississippi.At the beginning of the book Hiram and his grandpa was walking to the courthouse and Hiram's grandpa gave him a nickel so he can get some candy then they went to his grandpas field to watch the workers work and all the workers are black people and his grandpa saw Hiram playing with one of the workers hoes (cutting tool) and he got mad at the worker for letting his grandson play with his hoes and I know this because in the book it says on page7 "Hiram Hillburn, you put that down right now!" Grandpa shouted.I dropped the hoe and grandpa turned to the worker."You,boy!" he snapped "Don't you know any better than to let my grandson play with that tool? I ain't paying you to be a slacker, so you got no reason to be resting when you should be chopping." My reaction to this will be that I wouldn't let him yell at me just because I worked for him and I also wold be responsible and I wouldn't let his grandson play with the hoes. Also in the story after that his grandpa said that on page 8 "God put Negroes to work the land. They don't feel the heat like we do they can work all day long'. I f I was there in that stiuation then I would think that he was a races old man and that I would say something different then how he felt about black people and all people that are other reaces

I can tell that you are interested in your book a lot and that you know the plot but how can you describe the relationship between the mom and your main character (Question)From Dazheea.

The relationship between the main character and her mom is that they don't really have a good relationship because after the divorce her and her mom didn't have a relationship because she didn't want her mom in her life because she felt like if her mom ruined their family by cheating and having a baby with another man.But then I guess that she tries to make their relationship guess that better.But um I guess thats how their relation ship is in the book.

In the book that I am reading now is named Memories of a teenage amnesiac. So far the book is about how a girl name Naomi has fallen down stairs and has lost most of her memories when she is going to the hospital there is a boy named James in the and he is telling the doctors that he is Naomi's boyfriend so that he can go to the hospital with her.She didn't really know what was going on.When her dad came in after Naomi was talking to James she wanted to know where her mother was.Her dad told her that they had gotten a divorce she was wondering why they had gotten the divorce so when she got to talk to her mom she asked why they had gotten the divorce and she said because she had cheated and got pregnant then Naomi called her mom a slut and that is how far I have gotten in the book.

The plot I think is that she is in the hospital because she fell down the stairs but that is also the setting the book but the setting in the book also is that that it's is taking place in the present. The universal theme is human nature because of her emotions about how she feels about her mom. The protagonist is Naomi because she is the nascent one and the antagonist is the Mother because her mother ruined the family.

In the book Memories of a Teenage Amnesiac,the main character is Naomi. the plot I don't really know and the setting Is in the hospital I know this because in the book Naomi is in the hospital because she fell down the stairs. The Universal theme is Human Nature.

So more that I have read is that there's a girl named Risa and she's a wonderful piano player, but now she has to be unwound so that there is room at the place she lives for kids that will go there but she's not the only one.There's a boy named Samson who is also being unwound buts he's being unwound for doing nothing.That's about it that i have read but thinking about the world we live in I don't really know if I can make connections because I'm not sure if people are still being unwound but what I do know is that there are organ donors,that is a connection in the world.

So now I'm reading a m=new book and it's called Unwind by Neal Shusterman.So far it has been about a teenage boy named Connor and he thinks he's going to be unwind.Unwind means that parents are able to have their child's organs and other body parts used for other people and their child will die.The way that Connor expresses himself is by thinking because Connor is a thinker and he is a risk-taker because at the beginning of the book Connor and his friend Ariana are sitting ledge of the freeway.Also the reason Connor is a thinker is because mostly all that Connor is doing in the book that i have read is that Connor is thinking of what to do next and where to go next well he is running away for being unwind. Ways I express myself is that by thinking the way i dress and other ways.

I was reading is called Never go home again by Shannon Holmes.This book was about a young man named Corey.He is living in the projects of New York.Corey starts to think it's cool to be in the drug trading business and starts to make fast money. But now Corey must pay the price for selling drugs.And then he gets arrested and is sentenced to prison.Well Corey is in prison he starts to realize that what he has done was wrong and is starting to learn his lesson.Now he knows that he can make fast money by selling good things too.I believe that the universal theme is a message about life because all the book is about is to show what can happen if a person selling drugs or other things and what will happen like either they will go to jail or something else.
